A hint of color on the lips, some bronzer for a healthy glow, and a dash of concealer on the panda eyes. You know; to hide the fact that you slept at 4AM because you’ve been bingeing that new Netflix show. Current TS4 makeup mods and CC definitely mimic current makeup trends. Honestly, it’s pretty amazing that CC creators can keep up with what’s hot and what’s not, given how quickly fashion fads change nowadays. Let’s keep your Sim’s look fresh with these custom MM makeup sets. Because God forbid they show up at the party with a look that was so early 2000s, right?
MM Eye Makeup
1. Centric Eyeliner Set by vanilasimscc
Check Out This CC Sharp, defined eyes can tie together most makeup looks. Whether your Sim is going for a bright, bold theme or they’re opting for something more subtle, you can very rarely go wrong with matte black eyeliner ‘round their eyes. This set by vanilasimscc has both clean and smudged options!
2. MM Eyelash v3 by mmsims
Check Out This CC Feathery falsies are all the rage right now. The time of bold Instagram makeup trends is over. People now want softer eye looks, gradient, glossy lips, and imprecise soap brows. These light, wispy, moderately-long lashes by mmsims should suit current makeup fads just fine.
3. 3D Lashes by kijiko-sims in Sorbets Remix by crazysimmer99
Check Out This CC Kijiko-sims’ 3D Lashes are perhaps the most-used TS4 lashes in the CC community. Everyone, regardless of texture preference, uses them. Or a version of them. They’re just that well-made. I like crazysimmer99’s recolor of them—because sometimes you want red lashes, okay? Grab the original Kijiko 3D Lashes here before you download this recolor!
4. Wine Eyeshadow by Sagittariah
Check Out This CC As someone who actually wears red, clay, and wine shades on a daily basis, I cannot recommend this eyeshadow set enough. It comes in five solid swatches, and they all look great smudged and smoked out around the eyes. Plus the dot of inner-corner highlight helps tie the whole thing together.
5. Riviera Palette by crazycupcake
Check Out This CC Crazycupcake gives us the Riviera Palette by Anastasia Beverly Hills in TS4. Which, honestly, is pretty impressive! I’ve never owned one, so I can’t say for certain that the in-game colors are exactly how the shades look IRL, but regardless. The eyeshadow looks they created using the palettes colors are gorgeous.
6. Eyeliners by Orange Plumbob
Check Out This CC These are a lot thinner than vanilasimscc’s Centric eyeliners, but they’re every bit as defined. Maybe a little more than, even, especially with the sharper variations. There are seven wing styles in total, and it looks like only two of them are short and smudged. The rest sport wings so sharp, they could kill a man.
7. Fentybeauty – Neon Liner by crazycupcake
Check Out This CC For when black and dark-brown eyeliner gets too boring, here’s a beautiful, multi-color option. Neon liner may not sharpen and define eyes the way black liner does, nor can it soften and emphasize eye shapes the way brown liner can. But it does create a bold, beautiful statement that the other two can’t achieve, which is why I’m recommending it.
8. Daisies Eyeshadow by Simzbee
Check Out This CC This eyeshadow look was inspired by the Instagram/Pinterest trend where insanely talented makeup artists will freehand actual patterns onto their lids (seriously; look it up—the level of precision needed is insane!). It’s definitely not what one would consider an everyday makeup look. But! It’s cute, it’s creative, and there’s no harm in having it in your CAS Makeup category. You know; just in case.
9. Stendarr Eyeshadow by weepingsimmer
Check Out This CC Apparently, the creator did this in response to some requests for more subtle, neutral makeup. I think the looks turned out great! Plus, realistically speaking, the 35 neutral, natural colors in this set are more wearable.
10. Cheryl Collection by swagsimsfairy
Check Out This CC I dunno if a look as bold as this can be called avant-garde, but it’s definitely avant-great! (Sorry). All jokes aside, I love the bold blend of colors in this. They’re definitely not suitable for everyday wear or formal getups, but for parties? Random special occasions? Emergency emotional pick-me-ups? Then these eye looks work great.
11. The Simsta Palette by nynsimmer
Check Out This CC Apparently, this Simsta Palette is actually a product of nynsimmer’s followers. They asked their community to submit makeup creations that they then turned into TS4 eyeshadows and eyeliners! The result is twelve colorfully vibrant eyeshadow combinations and seven fun, funky liners.
12. The Lotus Collection by crypticsim
Check Out This CC If pinks and purples are in your Sims’ preferred palette, check out this gorgeous eye makeup set by crypticsim. It’s inspired by the actual flower, hence the cool, floral tones. You can mix ten shades of light & cool eyeshadow with ten shades of deeper, warmer eyeliner (plus inner corner highlight).
13. Drama Shadow Palette Set by vanilasimscc
Check Out This CC Vanilasimscc’s Drama Shadow set contains three eyeshadow looks and twenty color combinations. The variations include an extended, smoked-out wing and a semi-cut-crease, and they’re all – indeed – dramatic. The creator also recommends pairing it with some of their liners if you want a bit more oomph! to the eyes. Check out their Centric eyeliner (first item on this list!) or the liner from their remastered mini set.
14. The Candy Frost Palette by crypticisim
Check Out This CC Crypticsim definitely knows how to make bold color combinations work. This Candy Frost makeup set uses loud, unapologetic shades like sunflower yellow, salmon pink, and bright blue for their eye looks, and they somehow all look stunning. Speaking as someone who personally loves experimenting with eyeshadow palettes, that’s a fairly difficult feat to achieve!
MM Lips Makeup
15. Summer Balm by faaeish
Check Out This CC A slightly sheer lipstick in a beautiful muted berry color, this Summer Balm by faaeish makes for a simple little addition to your CAS makeup. Yes, there’s just one shade in this download. But it’s surprisingly universal and works pretty well with different skintones. Try it out and see for yourself!
16. KKW Beauty Nude Lipsticks by crazycupcake
Check Out This CC Who doesn’t like a nice nude lip? Especially for those days when your eye look is blinding and vivid, am I right? Balance out your Sim’s crazy colorful eyeshadow with a soft, muted lip color. This CC set has ten swatches, and one of them is bound to suit your Sim perfectly.
17. Subtle Glossy Lips by crazycupcake
Check Out This CC If you were never onboard with the overlined matte lips phase led by Kylie Jenner (hey; me neither), then you probably prefer a nice, feathery gloss. This elegant subtle tint (also by crazycupcake) comes in six faded peach and dusky pink shades.
18. Tequila Matte Lipstick by ilkup
Check Out This CC If you do enjoy the fullness of a matte lip, these beautiful fall colors by ilkup are sure to make you swoon. I love warm, earthy tones myself, so the reds, browns, and dusks in this set really speak to me. The fact that they look excellent both in CAS and in-game is a definite bonus.
19. Tusk Lipgloss by Sagittariah
Check Out This CC Add a bit of shine to your Sim’s everyday look with this plump, plush, and juicy-looking custom gloss from Sagittariah. It has just the barest hint of a tint mixed with plenty of highly-reflective shine. The effect kind of looks like clear gloss over cream lipstick.
20. Greer Lipgloss by Sagittariah
Check Out This CC Whereas the Tusk gloss had the “barest hint of a tint,” this Greer Lipgloss makeup – also from Sagittariah – is definitely tinted. Like, hands-down. No room for arguments. It comes in five swatches, and all colors are very prominent against certain skintones. The shine on this one is also a lot less exaggerated compared to the Tusk one, but don’t worry; it still glistens plenty!
21. Arkay Lipstick by weepingsimmer
Check Out This CC For when you want some color on your Sim’s lips but don’t feel like venturing into the brick-orange-and-blood-red category just yet, this Arkay lipstick set offers a tamer, safer solution. 35 of them, in fact! Seriously; all the swatches of this soft, matte lipstick can be described as brown, natural, and/or earth-toned. There’s no way any of them can clash with whatever eye and face makeup look they’re paired with.
MM Face Makeup
22. Lenora Highlighter Set by thepeachyfaerie
Check Out This CC Four versions with seven colors and fourteen swatches. I’m pretty bad at math, but even I know that makes for a lot of options. So if you want an easy grab-and-go CC pack with plenty of styles to choose from, this Lenora Highlighter set perfectly fits the bill.
23. Heart Blush by theplumbobfairy
Check Out This CC Talk about your statement piece! If the typical e-girl inked heart beneath the eyes is too small and too common, why not up the ante with a full heart made entirely of blush? It’s not a look that one would call wearable, but it’s definitely a look. Plus I think it’s absolutely adorable.
24. Peanut Blusher by MSQSIMS
Check Out This CC Add just the slightest hint of color to your Sim’s cheeks with MSQSIMS’s Peanut Blusher. It’s sort of a sheer, faded blush that feels like it’s been feathered and blended out to the heavens. It’s the definition of subtle. I also love that the creator included a highlight and non-highlight option for each swatch.
25. Simandy’s Torrada Blush Revamped and Berrified by frolickinggnomes
Check Out This CC Simandy’s Torrada body blush adds a beautifully blended smattering of color all over your Sim’s cheeks, cheekbones, and nose. The revamped and berrified version comes with two styles: opaque powder and cheeky tint, where the latter is a lot darker and defined than the former. The recolor is done in noodlescc’s Sorbet Remix palette, which adds 76 more blush colors to choose from!
26. Booboo Blush by squeamishsims
Check Out This CC This cute (and cutely named!) blush adds adorable little splotches of color to your Sim’s cheeks. It’s not as feathery or as faded as the other blushes mentioned on this list. But it does come with varying opacities for more variety. Two of the three shades come with three different levels of opacity, and the third one comes with five.
27. Butterfly Facepaint by twistedcat
Check Out This CC If inked hearts and blush hearts – basically, hearts in general – aren’t your Sim’s thing, why not have them print some pretty butterflies? Hey, if e-girls can draw clouds and galaxies on their cheeks, then your Sim can certainly get away with a couple cute, winged insects. They come in six colors!
28. Pride Facepaint by NekoChan-Simmer
Check Out This CC For those days when your Sim is feeling particularly bold, slap on some rainbow face makeup to strut their support. Or their pride. Depends on what your plans are for them. Regardless, there are two swatches of this multi-colored face paint, and both versions make for fun – and loud! – statements.
MM Makeup Sets/Misc.
29. Valentine’s Day Makeup Set by crazycupcake
Check Out This CC This simple but romantic makeup set contains – among others things – a sharp winged liner, a subtle high cheek blush, and some swatches of plumpish, glossy-ish lipstick. It’s a great all-in-one option for when you don’t feel like downloading custom makeup items individually!
30. Basim Collection by mortanko
Check Out This CC This is the Sims 4 equivalent of a makeup starter pack. It’s got eighteen swatches of eyeliner, thirty swatches of eyeshadow, fifty-four swatches of lightly-glossed lipstick, and twelve swatches of blush. And these swatches aren’t just different colors, no. For example, the eyeliner has two styles: simple and cat eye. Each one has nine color options, which is why there are eighteen swatches total. The lipstick has eighteen colors with three opacity levels each, for a total of fifty-four. Yep; it’s extensive as heck. Once you install this pack, you can definitely play around with different combos!
31. Fifties Fantasy Makeup by needlework reverie
Check Out This CC Recapture the charm of the 1950s with this colorful, creative makeup pack! Blush applied as near-perfect circles on the apples of the cheek, lipstick as red as a candy apple, and single-shade eyeshadows in vivid cool tones. They may not be in style anymore, but there’s no denying that fifties makeup looks were iconic as heck.
32. Bratz Pack Mini Set by vanillasimscc
Check Out This CC Honestly, creating a makeup set inspired by the Bratz dolls is a pretty genius concept. I mean, if you’re familiar with Bratz dolls, then you know that they’ve got some pretty intense makeup looks. It’s hard to miss, what with their comically exaggerated features and all. If you’re ever in the mood for bold frosts and metallic sheens on your Sim’s lids, this set has some great options.
33. August Heatwave by Orange Plumbob
Check Out This CC Twelve swatches of bold, autumnal eyeshadow and peach highlighter? I’m in love. If I could purchase this pack IRL, I would. Orange Plumbob’s August Heatwave makeup pack is great source of orange, gold, and brown eyeshadows for your Fall guys and gals. Plus, the custom highlight is really subtle and pretty—especially the gold-toned one!
34. The Kim J Collection by crypticsim
Check Out This CC Not sure if this was posted for Kim Kardashian’s birthday or if the creator actually has a Sim named Kim. Either way, the collection’s name is sufficiently attention-grabbing. And the makeup sets in it? Beautiful. The Kimberly eyeshadow palette is full of sexy nudes and neutrals, the Kimmy palette is all bright pops of color, and the Vince eyeliner set is vivid, matte, and avant-garde. Top it all off with the soft, pouty shades from the Stockholm gloss set.
35. Matte Lipstick & Neutral Eyeshadow by voidboredom
Check Out This CC The majority of this list was bold makeup sets with crazy color combos, Instagram-worthy eye looks, and highlights to the gods. So! I’m going to end it with a toned-down duo from _voidboredom. Some neutral eyeshadow in soft browns and muted creams paired with a simple matte swatch of lipstick. Nice, easy, and totally wearable!
